Good Afternoon! Here is a copy of the letter that was sent home today just in case it got lost on the way home! Just like the dryer with those missing socks, backpacks seem to eat things sometimes!

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

 Can you believe that we have almost completed the 1^st 6 weeks? Time is going by so quickly and I wanted to update you on some things that are happening here at Gonzales Elementary.  We have been working very hard on learning about graphs, addition, and right now we’re working on subtraction. Please make sure to keep practicing those flash cards at home with your kiddo!  Here are a few things to jot down on you calendar:

October 2^nd- Rachel’s Challenge. We will be riding the bus to Junior High and watching a 30-45 minute presentation.

October 3^rd- 2^nd Grade Field Trip to Gonzales Memorial Museum & Eggleston House. We will be walking there so please no flip- flops.

October 5^th- Fall Pictures! J I’ll be sending home a reminder that day before. This is also the end of the 1^st 6 weeks.

October 10^th- Community Pep Rally 7:00 at Apache Field. Please come and support Gonzales Elementary!
